A number of large multinational corporations including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, IBM and Procter & Gamble (P&G) have decided to stop doing business with Russia because of its invasion of Ukraine. And Russian authorities are striking back with warnings about arrests and asset seizures.
Russian prosecutors have reportedly contacted numerous entities via phone, letters, and even in-person visits to warn that the Russian government is ready to start punishing these companies, including by taking their intellectual property.
“The warnings have prompted at least one of the targeted companies to limit communications between its Russian business and the rest of the company, out of concern that emails or text messages among colleagues may be intercepted, some of the people (familiar with the matter) said,” reported The Wall Street Journal.
Immediately following its invasion of Ukraine, Russia incurred a barrage of sanctions from Western governments, which systematically condemned Pres. Vladimir Putin’s actions.
Many Western companies said they would no longer do business with or in Russia, and many leftists, mostly, also took Ukraine’s side by vowing to boycott all things Russian in a mass display of xenophobia.
Stopping short of using the word “nationalization,” Putin did say that he is in favor of appointing “external” administrators to head the offending multinational corporations that exist inside Russia “in order to transfer them to those who want to make them work.”
The Russian prosecutor’s office announced an order of “strict control” against companies that suspended their activities in Russia. It further warned of increased monitoring of labor legislation compliance, under penalty of prosecution.
When pressed for comment by the AFP, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble and Yum Brands (i.e., Taco Bell and KFC) did not respond.
The AFP‘s version of the story makes Russia sound like a bully and these companies as victims of a hostile regime that demands obedience. But is there more to the story than that?
As we reported, there is a whole lot more to the story than the Western corporate-controlled media is letting on about the possible true reason for the invasion.
It turns out that the Pentagon operates dozens of bioweapons laboratories across Europe, Asia and Africa. Several of them are located in Ukraine, and we now know that at least one of them was working with modified bat coronaviruses.
Russian authorities confirmed following several operations in Ukraine that Pentagon-run biolabs have been tampering with deadly pathogens, many of which have mysteriously “leaked” in years past, sickening and killing people.
A $2.1 billion military-industrial complex program run by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) made this all possible, and Russia says it was too much of a threat to continue allowing right across the border from Moscow in Ukraine.
The United States government initially lied about the biolabs, claiming they did not exist and were just a “conspiracy theory.” Now the deep state admits the biolabs are real, but claims that they were only for “research” purposes and that the true threat is Putin getting access to them.
Based on the rhetoric coming from Washington, D.C., it is almost expected that the military-industrial complex will attempt to launch a false flag attack of some sort (maybe another bioweapon or possibly an electromagnetic pulse (EMP)?) that it will then blame on Russia.
“No need to wonder why people are living with more diseases and disease outbreaks than people alive 100+ years ago,” wrote someone at Natural News about the Pentagon-run biolabs.
“To top that off the peasants are expected to forfeit every human right, and their humanity in the fake fight against disease eradication by adding more carcinogens into the bloodstream.”
